Our Story
In 2015, six busy, hopeful moms decided they wanted to make a difference in their community while teaching their children the value of volunteering. Founder Carolyn Patterson came up with the idea to create Atlanta Moms Making a Difference (AMMAD) to promote family volunteerism and make a BIG difference in the lives of others.
The charities and partners that AMMAD supports are aligned with our values of children, family, education and positively impacting quality of life. Since its inception, the organization has grown to more than 400 participating families who have made an impact on thousands of lives through volunteering, donations and providing moments of joy and hope for those in need.
“We aim to teach families and children the importance of volunteering and helping others while also making a worthy impact on the community.”
